Today is the day! Our administrator Ross was one of the first people in line to get the Covid vaccine for The Pines at Utica.

When asked why he chose to get it, he stated “I feel that it is important to protect our residents & staff. We are lucky we have the ability to get it and continue to keep our residents safe.” Thank you Ross!

[12/21/20]   Thank you SO much to (The Utica Police Department) The Officer Lindsey Foundation for the generous donation to our residents for the holidays.
During this time of year we are so focused on the magic of Christmas, that we actually forget about the other magic that exists and that miracles do happen every day!

Thank you SO much Jack Trades for putting on a Virtual Magic Show this afternoon for our residents! It is because of people like you that remind us how lucky we are! Have a great weekend everyone!

Can anyone guess what the residents were up to this time!?

With deer hunting season coming to a close in Upstate New York, the Residents were able to load their (Nerf) guns as our Activity Department Deer scattered and hid behind these trees!

#HuntingFishingandLovingEveryday #ThePinesatUtica #BeTheLight #DeerHunting #HuntingSeason #ThePinesAtUtica Passport to Better Health We look forward to the smiles on our residents' faces when once again, children and grandchildren can greet in person with big, warm hugs. 🤗

Earlier this month, The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted to include healthcare workers and long-term care residents to receive prioritized access to the COVID-19 vaccine. As we approach this decisive turning point in the battle to defeat COVID-19, we remain vigilant and ever proud of our teams. Overcoming this pandemic has taken us working together, and together we are taking a stand and helping our residents and our families do the same. #NHCA #BeTheLight #PassportToBetterHealth #COVID19Vaccine #BeatThePandemic

Today we are especially Thankful for the Case Management departments at Mohawk Valley Health System. They work SO hard to make sure that all of our community residents are discharged with the safest plans in place. We know it isn't always easy but they always do it with the patients best interest at heart. When it comes to quality and care, this department has it all. Thank you Case Management!
